Chinatown

Earlier this week, I took a trip over to Chinatown to grab lunch with a friend. Since it is so cold outside, a warm bowl of Pho sounded wonderful! And boy was it!

Afterwards we stopped by for boba tea. I should have gotten warm tea, but hehe....I got cold lychee boba tea ^_^

And here's a pretty picture I forgot to post a while ago. It was a couple days after our big snow. We took a walk towards the Louvre and this was one of the ponds in the Tuileries. Part of the water in the ice was still frozen. Hehe....I don't think I've seen that before!

Cheese Fondue

Saturday night was our first date out by ourselves since a while ago. Since it's still pretty cool outside, we decided to go have Fondue! We ordered the pot with four difference cheese and cepes (a type of mushroom) It was fatty, but it was good!

Today we got to walk around while it was still snowing!

Walking on Snow

So finally....after living in Paris for over a year, I can say that I've seen real snow fall. It wasn't a lot....maybe between two to three inches, but the streets and cars were all covered in white fluffiness and I felt the snow crackle beneath my (warm and comfy) boots.

We didn't go out too early so some of the snow already melted and the streets were already salted....so yucky snow. Luckily, we live near a park and it was pretty empty and still fairly untouched.

We didn't really get to see the snow fall.......must have started while we were eating dinner. But it started a little again and hopefully it will keep on snowing and the ground will be full tomorrow! It's nice and fluffy snow too!

only a little and unfortunately, it's dark outside so nothing shows up in the pictures. Oh well....hopefully it will keep on snowing through the night and there will be huge piles of fresh snow in the morning! ^_^
